Absolutely! Thin needles and gentle technique allow for a comfortable experience. You may feel a dull ache and/or tingling sensation around the needle site, which is normal. After all the needles are placed, patients often don't notice the needles at all and describe a feeling of calm.

Eat a small meal 1 to 2 hours beforehand and wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing. Stay hydrated and use the washroom before we begin. If you are coming in for facial rejuvenation, please arrive with a clean make-up free face.

It depends on what you are seeking treatment for. Common places to needle are on the limbs, torso, face, and scalp. Often times, the patient will not need to get undressed if they are wearing loose clothing. If there is an area of the body that needs to be accessed, the patient will be draped for privacy.

This depends on what you are seeking treatment for and your treatment plan that is discussed with your practitioner. Treatments will often be more frequent in the beginning and gradually decrease in frequency as your symptoms ease. Results are cumulative, so it's best to discuss your needs and goals with your practitioner.
